Red Deer College is a public college located in Alberta, Canada. Established in 1964, it is the oldest publicly-funded college in the province and offers a wide range of academic, career, and continuing education programs. With over 4,500 students enrolled in more than 60 educational programs, Red Deer College serves as an academic hub for students from all walks of life.
Red Deer College has an attractive, safe, and friendly campus of 145 acres in the heart of downtown Red Deer, an industrial and commercial center. The college features state-of-the-art facilities including an Olympic-sized pool, two gymnasiums, and a student-run radio station. The college also features vibrant student clubs and sports teams. Students at Red Deer College come from more than 50 communities and come from a variety of backgrounds. There are currently 1,022 undergraduates and 396 graduate students enrolled. Each year, an additional 800 students enroll in the college's Continuing Education program.
